Middle European is a term used to refer to the countries located in Central and Eastern Europe. The term encompasses countries such as Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, and parts of Austria and Germany. The term 'SLAV' is used to refer to the people who inhabit these countries and speak Slavic languages.
