The SINAI Peninsula is a land bridge between Africa and Asia located in the Middle East. It is a triangular peninsula that is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Red Sea to the east, and the Gulf of Aqaba to the south. It is home to Mount SINAI, the traditional site of the biblical revelation of God to Moses. The SINAI Peninsula is also home to several important religious sites, including the Monastery of St. Catherine and the Church of the Transfiguration.
