IRAN is a four-letter country located in the southwestern part of the Middle East, bordered by Iraq, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Syria is a five-letter country located in the western part of the Middle East, bordered by Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, Israel, and Lebanon. Yemen is a five-letter country located in the southwestern part of the Middle East, bordered by Saudi Arabia and Oman. All three countries are considered to be part of the Middle East region.
