The Middle Ear is a part of the ear that is located between the outer ear and the inner ear. It is composed of three small bones, the malleus, incus, and stapes, which are collectively known as the ossicles. The Middle Ear also contains the TYMPANUM, which is a thin membrane that vibrates when sound waves enter the ear. The COB, or Cochlea-Basilar membrane, is a structure in the inner ear that helps to transmit sound signals to the brain.
