Lorne Michaels is a Canadian-American television producer, writer, comedian, and actor best known for creating and producing the long-running NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. He has been the executive producer of the show since its inception in 1975 and has also occasionally appeared on-screen as an actor. Michaels is also the co-creator of the late-night talk show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the creator of the Netflix series Russian Doll.
