Mia Hamm is a retired American soccer player who is widely considered to be one of the greatest female soccer players of all time. She was a two-time Olympic gold medalist and a two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion. Hamm played for the United States women's national soccer team from 1987 to 2004, and is the team's all-time leading scorer with 158 international goals. She was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2007.
