The Mexican Peninsula is composed of two main regions: Baja, which is a four-letter word, and Yucatan, which is a seven-letter word. Baja is a peninsula located in northwestern Mexico, extending southwards from the U.S.-Mexico border into the Pacific Ocean. It is the second longest peninsula in the world, after the Arabian Peninsula. Yucatan is a state in southeastern Mexico, located on the Yucatan Peninsula. It is bordered by the states of Campeche to the southwest, Quintana Roo to the east, and Belize and the Caribbean Sea to the northeast.
