Medieval Minstrels, also known as BARDS (5 letters), were musicians and storytellers in the Middle Ages. They were often employed by noblemen to entertain guests at feasts and other events. Minstrels were usually itinerant, travelling from place to place to perform their music and stories. They were also responsible for preserving the oral tradition of their culture, passing down stories and songs from generation to generation.
