Medieval Japanese Assassins, also known as Ninjas, were covert agents or mercenaries in feudal Japan. They were highly trained in the martial arts and specialized in espionage, sabotage, infiltration, and assassination. They were often employed by daimyo, or feudal lords, to carry out missions that could not be accomplished by conventional means. Ninjas were also known for their use of unconventional weapons such as shuriken, or throwing stars, and kusarigama, a sickle attached to a chain.
