Maureen Singer is a British singer, songwriter, and record producer best known for her work with the band Sade. She has been a member of the group since its formation in 1982 and has contributed to all of their albums. She is also credited with writing some of the band's most popular songs, including 'Smooth Operator' and 'No Ordinary Love'. Singer has also released several solo albums and collaborated with other artists.
