Maui Neighbor is a term used to refer to the three islands that neighbor Maui in Hawaii: LANAI, Oahu, and Kauai. LANAI is the smallest of the four main Hawaiian Islands with an area of 140 square miles. Oahu is the third largest island and is home to the state capital, Honolulu. Kauai is the fourth largest island and is known for its lush tropical rainforests and stunning beaches. All three of these islands are popular tourist destinations and are considered to be Maui's neighbors.
