Mathematician Paul Erdos was a Hungarian mathematician who made significant contributions to the field of mathematics. He was known for his prolific output and his work in combinatorics, graph theory, number theory, classical analysis, approximation theory, set theory, and probability theory. He was also known for his eccentric lifestyle and his collaboration with other mathematicians. He was awarded the Wolf Prize in Mathematics in 1983.
