MASS MEDIA is a term used to describe the various forms of communication used to reach a large audience, such as BROADCASTING, TELEVISION, RADIO, and print media. BROADCASTING is the transmission of audio and/or visual content through RADIO waves, which can be received by a wide range of people. TELEVISION is a form of BROADCASTING that uses electronic signals to transmit images and sound. RADIO is a form of BROADCASTING that transmits audio signals through airwaves. Print media, also known as organs, are publications such as newspapers, magazines, and books. All of these forms of communication are used to reach a large audience and are collectively referred to as mass media.
