The actor Edwynn, also known as Ed Wynn, was a popular American comedian and actor who starred in the 1964 Disney film Mary Poppins. He was born Isaiah Edwin Leopold in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1886 and had a career that spanned over five decades. His son, Keenan Wynn, also appeared in the film as the character of Mr. Dawes Sr. Edwynn's other notable roles include The Great Man Votes, The Diary of a Chambermaid, and Alice in Wonderland.
