Marshal Ney was a French military commander who served under Napoleon Bonaparte during the Napoleonic Wars. He was known as one of the most daring and successful commanders of the French Revolutionary Wars and was nicknamed 'The Bravest of the Brave'. At the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, Ney commanded the left wing of the French army and was ultimately defeated by the British and Prussian forces.
