The Manassas Fighters were a Confederate army unit during the American Civil War. They were also known as the 'Rebels' or 'Rebs' for short. The Manassas Fighters were involved in two major battles, the First Battle of Bull Run and the Second Battle of Bull Run, both of which took place in Manassas, Virginia. The Manassas Fighters were ultimately defeated in the Second Battle of Bull Run, but their courage and determination earned them a place in history.
