Edo de Waart is a Dutch conductor and violinist who has held the title of Maestro since the 1970s. He is known for his work with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He has also conducted many operas, including Wagner's Ring Cycle and Mozart's Don Giovanni. He is currently the Music Director of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
