Marie Tussaud, also known as Madame Tussaud, was a French artist and sculptor who is best known for her wax sculptures. She was born in Strasbourg, France in 1761 and moved to London in 1802. She created hundreds of wax figures of famous people, including politicians, royalty, and celebrities. Her wax museum, Madame Tussauds, is now a popular tourist attraction in many cities around the world.
