Macbeth's burial place is Iona, a small island off the west coast of Scotland. It is the home of Iona Abbey, a monastery founded in 563 AD by St. Columba and his followers. The abbey was a major center of Gaelic monasticism for several centuries and is now a popular tourist destination.
