A lowly laborer is a person who performs manual labor for little or no pay. An ESNE is an Old English term for a servant or slave, an ANT is a small insect that works hard to build its nest, a PEASANT is a member of the lower class who works on the land, a PEON is a person who is forced to do menial labor, a DRUDGE is someone who does tedious and unpleasant work, and a SERF is a person bound to the land and required to provide labor services to a lord.
