Cressida is a character from Greek mythology who is known for her love of Troilus. She is a Trojan woman who is the daughter of Calchas, a priest of Apollo. CRESSIDA is best known for her role in the Trojan War, where she was sent to the Greek camp as a hostage and fell in love with Troilus, a prince of Troy. Despite her love for Troilus, CRESSIDA eventually betrays him and leaves him for the Greek warrior Diomedes.
