Ian HOLM is an English actor who is best known for his role as Bilbo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. He has had a long and successful career, appearing in films such as Chariots of Fire, Alien, The Fifth Element, and The Hobbit. HOLM was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in the 1981 film Chariots of Fire.
