Liege is a term used to describe a person who is LOYAL and FAITHFUL to a LORD or OVERLORD. This loyalty is demonstrated through being TRUE, STEADFAST, RESOLUTE, and STAUNCH. A VASSAL is someone who is in a similar position to a liege, but is subordinate to an OVERLORD.
