Stan Lee of Comics was an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer. He was the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics and the creator or co-creator of numerous famous Marvel characters, including Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, and many more. He was also a major force in the expansion of Marvel from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation. Stan Lee was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995.
