The term LEAVE EMPLOYMENT can be defined by three different words: RETIRE, RESIGN, and QUIT. Retiring from a job is when an employee decides to end their career due to age or other factors. Resigning is when an employee chooses to leave their job voluntarily, usually for another opportunity. Quitting is when an employee abruptly ends their employment without giving notice. All three of these terms refer to the same concept of leaving a job.
