Leading Aircraftman (LAC) is a rank in the Royal Air Force (RAF). It is the lowest non-commissioned rank in the RAF and is equivalent to a Lance Corporal in the British Army and Royal Marines. The rank is responsible for carrying out basic duties such as aircraft maintenance, ground support, and administrative tasks. They are also expected to provide leadership and guidance to junior personnel.
