The Last Stuart Queen was ANNE, who reigned from 1702 to 1714. She was the second daughter of James VII and II of Scotland and England, and the last monarch of the House of Stuart. She succeeded her brother-in-law, William III, and her sister, Mary II, as joint sovereigns of Great Britain. During her reign, she oversaw the union of England and Scotland, which created the Kingdom of Great Britain. She also oversaw the War of Spanish Succession, which resulted in the Treaty of Utrecht.
