The language of Lebanon is ARABIC, which is a Semitic language spoken by more than 300 million people in the Middle East and North Africa. It is the official language of 26 countries, including Lebanon, and is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. ARABIC is written from right to left and has its own alphabet, which is derived from the Aramaic alphabet. It is also the liturgical language of Islam, and is used in many religious texts.
