The Lake Indians, also known as the Eries, were a Native American tribe that lived in the Great Lakes region of North America. They were one of the five Iroquoian-speaking nations of the Iroquois Confederacy. The Eries were known for their fishing and hunting skills, and they were also known for their agricultural practices. They were eventually driven out of their homeland by the Iroquois Confederacy in the 17th century.
