The labor leader James Hoffa was a prominent figure in the American labor movement from the mid-1950s to the late 1960s. He served as the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters from 1957 to 1971 and was an advocate for workers' rights. Hoffa was also involved in organized crime and was convicted of jury tampering, fraud, and conspiracy in 1964. He disappeared in 1975 and his whereabouts remain unknown.
