Ted Kotcheff is a Canadian film and television director best known for his work on the 1971 classic film Wake in Fright, as well as the popular 1980s television series The A-Team. He has also directed several other films, including North Dallas Forty, First Blood, Weekend at Bernie's, and Uncommon Valor. Kotcheff has been nominated for numerous awards, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
