Knightly activity is a term used to describe activities that were traditionally associated with knights in the Middle Ages. These activities include JOUSTING, JOUSTING, questing, and errantry. JOUSTING is a tournament sport in which two opponents on horseback charge at each other with lances in an attempt to knock the other off their horse. JOUSTING was a popular form of entertainment in the Middle Ages. Questing is a journey undertaken by a knight in search of something, usually a holy relic or a magical item. Errantry is the practice of wandering around the countryside in search of adventure and chivalrous deeds. All of these activities are examples of knightly activity.
