Knight wear is a term used to refer to the clothing and ARMOR worn by knights during the Middle Ages. ARMOR, which was typically made of metal, was the most important part of knight wear and included MAIL, plate ARMOR, and steel plates. Tabards and coats of arms were also commonly worn by knights to identify their family or allegiance. Tabards were sleeveless garments that were usually brightly colored and featured a coat of arms on the front and back.
