The ALAI Mountains are a mountain range located in the Kirghizian region of Central Asia. They form part of the Pamir-ALAI mountain system, and are situated between the Fergana Valley in the north and the Alay Valley in the south. The highest peak is Pik Kommunizma, at 7, 495 metres (24, 590 ft). The ALAI Mountains are home to a variety of flora and fauna, including snow leopards, ibex, and argali sheep.
