The ALAI Mountains are a mountain range located in the Kirghiz Mountains of Central Asia. They are part of the Tian Shan mountain system, and extend from the Pamir Knot in Tajikistan to the north of the border between Kyrgyzstan and China. The highest peak is Pik Pobeda at 7, 439 meters (24, 406 feet). The ALAI Mountains are known for their spectacular scenery and are popular with hikers and climbers.
