Kilt cloth is traditionally made from TARTAN, PLAID, and WOOL fabrics. TARTAN is a patterned cloth of interlocking stripes in multiple colors, usually associated with Scotland. PLAID is a pattern of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colors, also often associated with Scotland. WOOL is a natural fiber obtained from sheep or other animals, and is used to make clothing and fabric. Kilt cloth is traditionally made from these three materials, and is used to make the traditional Scottish garment known as a kilt.
