A Keystone Officer, or KOP, is a law enforcement officer who is responsible for protecting the public and enforcing laws in the state of Pennsylvania. They are responsible for patrolling highways, responding to emergency calls, and providing assistance to other law enforcement agencies. They also investigate crimes, make arrests, and testify in court. Keystone Officers are highly trained and have the authority to use force when necessary.
