Ketch's Cousin is a type of sailing vessel known as a YAWL, which has four letters. A YAWL is a two-masted sailing vessel with the mizzenmast stepped aft of the rudder post and smaller than the mainmast. It is similar to a ketch, but the mizzenmast is placed further back on the boat, making it more maneuverable.
