Elena Kagan is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. She was nominated by President Barack Obama in 2010 and confirmed by the Senate in a 63-37 vote. She is the fourth woman to serve on the Supreme Court and the first Jewish female justice. Kagan previously served as the first female Solicitor General of the United States and as the Dean of Harvard Law School. She is known for her progressive views on the law and her commitment to justice.
