Julia Louis-Dreyfus is an American actress, comedian, and producer who is best known for her role as Selina Meyer in the HBO comedy series Veep. Veep is a political satire television show that follows the life of Meyer, a fictional Vice President of the United States. The show ran from 2012 to 2019 and won numerous awards, including six consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Louis-Dreyfus.
