Julia Louis-Dreyfus is an American actress, comedian, and producer. She is best known for her roles in the television sitcoms Seinfeld and Veep. She has won numerous awards for her work, including nine Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She is also the recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Louis-Dreyfus began her career as a cast member on Saturday Night Live in 1982. She went on to star in several films and television series, including The New Adventures of Old Christine and Arrested Development.
