Jousting's Contest, also known as a TILT, is a competition between two mounted knights who charge at each other with lances in an attempt to break the lance on the opponent's shield or jousting armor. The jouster who remains seated on his horse and with his lance intact is declared the winner. This type of contest was popular during the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods and is still practiced today in some parts of the world.
