Gail Sheehy is an American journalist and author who has written extensively on topics such as aging, relationships, and politics. She is best known for her 1976 book Passages, which was a New York Times bestseller and has been translated into 28 languages. Sheehy has also written for Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, and The New York Times. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the National Magazine Award for Public Service and the Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications.
