Angel Cordero Jr. is a Puerto Rican jockey who has been inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the greatest jockeys of all time, having won over 7, 000 races in his career. He was the first jockey to win the Triple Crown twice and was the leading jockey at the New York Racing Association from 1973 to 1993. He is also known for his philanthropic work, having established the ANGEL Cordero Jr. Foundation to help underprivileged children in Puerto Rico.
