A jet jockey is a PILOT who flies a jet aircraft. Jet jockeys are highly trained professionals who must have a great deal of knowledge and experience in order to safely operate a jet aircraft. They must be able to navigate the aircraft, understand the principles of flight, and be able to respond quickly and accurately to any changes in the environment. Jet jockeys must also be able to communicate effectively with air traffic controllers and other personnel on the ground.
