Jesmyn Ward is an American novelist and professor whose works explore the lives of African Americans in the South. Her creations include six novels, such as 'Salvage the Bones' (2011), which won the National Book Award for Fiction, and 'Sing, Unburied, Sing' (2017), which won the same award. Her other works include 'Where the Line Bleeds' (2008), 'Men We Reaped' (2013), 'The Fire This Time' (2016), and 'The Yellow House' (2020).
