Wes Montgomery was a jazz guitarist from Indiana who is considered one of the most influential jazz guitarists of all time. He was known for his unique style of playing, which included octave-style solos and chord-melody arrangements. He released several albums throughout his career, including The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery and A Day in the Life. He was inducted into the Down Beat Jazz Hall of Fame in 1981.
