Keith Jarrett is an American jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader. He is widely known for his improvisational skills and has been active since the 1960s. Jarrett is considered one of the most influential jazz pianists of all time and has won numerous awards, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. He is best known for his solo piano recordings, such as The Köln Concert, which is one of the best-selling jazz albums of all time. Jarrett has also released several albums with his trio, quartet, and quintet, as well as collaborations with other musicians.
