Leon Jaworski was an American lawyer who served as the second Watergate Special Prosecutor. He was appointed to the position in 1973 and is best known for his role in the investigation of the Watergate scandal, which ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. Jaworski was also a prominent figure in the civil rights movement and was involved in several landmark Supreme Court cases.
