The Japanese video game maker is Sega, a company founded in 1940 by Martin Bromley, Irving Bromberg, and James Humpert. It initially began as an American service organization, but eventually shifted its focus to the production of arcade games. In 1983, Sega released its first console, the SG-1000, and in 1986, it released the Sega Master System. Sega went on to become one of the most successful video game companies in the world, producing popular titles such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Virtua Fighter, and Crazy Taxi.
